Water & Sewer Rates

The Town uses a tiered structure for determining rates. Your monthly bill will vary depending on how much water you use. The more water you use, the more you will pay. The less water you use, the less you will pay.

The water and sewage rates below are effective May 1, 2026.

For homes, the base charge for water will be $18.32 per month and the base fee for sewer service will be $23.03.

Your usage charges for water will be as follows:

(The cost is not cumulative, so if you use 10,000 gallons in one month, the first 4,000 gallons would be billed at $2.29, the second 4,000 gallons would be billed at $2.86 and the last 2,000 gallons would be billed at $4.30.

All residential customers starting new service will be charged a $50.00 administrative fee and a $275.00 deposit ($87.50 for water, $87.50 for sewer and $100.00 for refuse).

Deposits will be refunded after 24 months to customers who established a "Good Credit History*." Refunds will be applied as a credit to the customers account.

*"Good Credit History" means that during the preceding twenty-four (24) consecutive months, a customer: (a) never had service discontinued for delinquent payment; (b) never had a check returned for non-payment; and (c) had no more than one instance of a delinquent payment of a bill.

Most commercial accounts use a meter size of 3/4-inch. For this meter size, the following rates apply:

Water base charge: $18.32 per month

Water usage: $2.86 per 1,000 gallons

Sewer base charge: $23.03 per month

Sewer usage: $4.49 per 1,000 gallons
