T.C. Miller Community Center and Recreation Park

The TC Miller Community Center & Recreation Park was built in 1938 and served the African-American Community in Orange Park as an elementary school. Theresa Miller was the school’s first teacher and administrator. Miller was born and raised in the Hibernia area, and gave 40 years to the field of education, mostly in Clay County. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. The original building still stands.

Public facilities include a pavilion, full size basketball court, playground, swings, and restrooms.
