Steve Howard, Councilman
Councilman Steve Howard is serving his second term as a Town of Orange Park Councilman representing Seat One. Steve was raised in Bainbridge, Georgia. After graduating from Bainbridge High School in 1960, he attended Middle Georgia College and graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University with a civil engineering degree in 1964.
After graduating from college, he worked as a construction manager and executive with a large heavy and highway construction company in Albany, Georgia.
He retired in 2007 from Florida Rock Industries, Inc., Jacksonville, Florida after 23 years of service as Vice-President of Operations-Crushed Stone Division and Director of Corporate Purchasing.
His family includes his wife of 45 years, Diane, a retired registered nurse at Orange Park Medical Center and three grown children, Tracy, Stephen and Leigh, along with their spouses and seven grandchildren.
