The Department of Public Works is responsible for the planning, programming, construction and maintenance of streets, sanitation, water and sewer facilities including lift stations and treatment plants, drainage facilities, and public buildings and grounds of the Town. In addition, the Department is responsible for garbage, waste and recycling programs and services within the Town limits of Orange Park.

Chuck Pavlos, Director of Public Works

Mr. Pavlos started at Public Works Director for the Town in April, 2011. He directs the activities of approximately 40 employees and brings over 30 years of experience in all aspects of Public Works such as utilities, transportation, facilities maintenance, engineering and contracting. Mr. Pavlos is a Registered Professional Engineer and holds Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Civil Engineering and Applied Mathematics as well as a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, all from the University of Virginia.
